This is just songs I've wrote myself. Feel free to rate.

When the school bell rang for the end of class
And the day had nearly come to an end
We’d race on home through the woodlands and grass
Ready now our time had come round again

With plastic guns in our hands and the world at our feet
Our imaginations more than ready to go
We’d head on down to fight the wars on our street
Comin home with nothing but bruises to show

We were the Orphans of
The broken world
Our own alter egos from life
We were young and hungry
No money or girls
But we swore we’d never give up the fight

Well as the years went by and we began to change
And our youth had nearly come to an end
We would listen to our heroes on a cassette tape
And we made a vow we would always be there

The years passed on and our hopes grew higher
But as they did the sunlight started to fade
The world grew dim, getting darker and darker
As the real world was brought into play

We were the orphans of
The broken world
Alter egos had become real life
Bruised and broken
Our childhood torn from the world
Not knowing these days, wrong from right

Everytime I read "lyrics" or "poems" from anyone, most people just go into metaphor trough metaphor and then the "lyrics" or "poem" loses sense.....

But this one mademoiselle......THIS one...it got me. It has sense, a message and feeling into it...

Good job. I like it. And to be honest: I want more.
